CME Group Expands Dairy Product Offerings – Effective Monday, September 17, 2007

 

Effective Monday, September 17, 2007 , the following expanded dairy product offerings will be available for trading on CME Globex ®: 

 

  • Class III Milk Options (DC) Twenty-four (24) calendar months, beginning with the September contract, will be listed for trading.  Straddles, strangles and vertical spreads will be offered.  GLOBEX Trading hours are Monday 9:05 a.m. – Friday 1:30 p.m. Central Time (CT), with 1 hour GLOBEX daily maintenance from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m, Monday - Thursday.

 

  • Nonfat Dry Milk Futures and Options (GNF)   Twenty-four (24) calendar months, beginning with the September contract, will be listed for trading.  Trading hours are:

Futures:  GLOBEX Trading hours are Monday 9:05 a.m. – Friday 1:30 p.m. Central Time (CT), with 1 hour GLOBEX daily maintenance from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m, Monday – Thursday.

Options:  GLOBEX Trading hours are Monday 9:05 a.m. – Friday 1:30 p.m. Central Time (CT), with 1 hour GLOBEX daily maintenance from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m, Monday – Thursday.

 

  • Class IV Milk Futures and Options (GDK)

Twenty-four (24) calendar months, beginning with the September contract, will be listed for trading.  Trading hours are:

Futures:  GLOBEX Trading hours are Monday 9:05 a.m. – Friday 1:30 p.m. Central Time (CT), with 1 hour GLOBEX daily maintenance from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m, Monday – Thursday.

Options:  GLOBEX Trading hours are Monday 9:05 a.m. – Friday 1:30 p.m. Central Time (CT), with 1 hour GLOBEX daily maintenance from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m, Monday – Thursday.

 

  • New Dry Whey Options and Spreads (DY) will be available for trading.

  • New Cash-Settled Butter Options (CB) will be available for trading.
